	Pharmacia & Upjohn When Pharmacia of Sweden and the Upjohn Company in North America merged in the mid 90s, the new company, Pharmacia & Upjohn, became the ninth largest player in the pharmaceutical world. The new identity was designed to send signals to both internal and external audiences – a human focus, inventiveness, aspiration and the strength to make a difference to the world’s medical challenges. The identity programme was led by Marksteen Adamson, Creative Director whilst at Interbrand.
